With universal credit (UC) being rolled out across the country, a strong digital inclusion strategy can be the difference between successful adoption and a potentially devastating impact on housing associations’ income.
With an online UC application portal now the entry point for the vast majority of residents, mistakes and failure to properly manage this process can mean incorrect submissions, failed applications, sanctions and ultimately a delay in rent payments to already financially stretched organisations.
